Hi! Summer is finally here! Although it doesn't feel like it. Nevertheless, I am sharing my summer 2015 nail polish picks, I have five polishes to show you.
It was super difficult to pick five polishes, I have so many polishes which I love to wear in the summer, anything from neon green to a sheer neutral. Instead of choosing typical summer colours (whether I wear them or not), I decided to show some of the colours and polishes I personally wear the most!
The first one up is China Glaze Point Me to the Party. This is a new polish that came out in the Electric Nights collection, so it should be pretty easy to find. Although this is new, I have worn it so much already, and I can tell I will wear this polish every summer! Just look at it! It's an amazing matte neon glitter mix, there's orange, green, purple, blue and pink glitters. This looks so beautiful over white, and is the perfect polish for summer.
Next up is another new polish for 2015, this is Malibu Pink from Models Own, it was recently released in the Polish For Tans collection. This is the ultimate Barbie, cooled toned pink. I love it! These types of pinks are my favourite for summer, they are so bright, but still girly and wearable. This one has an amazing formula, it's not thick and patchy like last years Polish For Tans. Can we also talk about how cute the name is? It just reminds me of lying on the beach with a cocktail!
Next is another China Glaze, this is Highlight of My Summer. This is an older polish, I believe it came out in 2013, in the Sunsational Collection. I have worn this polish so much, my bottle is almost empty. It's a beautiful neon mint polish, more on the green side of mint. Although it's bright, this polish is so wearable, and everyone loves mint! I must say the formula is awful, it's chalky and streaky, this is three coats with a top coat, it dries super matte too. Although old, this polish is still available on sites like Nail Polish Direct.
Next up is a Barry M polish, this is in the shade Papaya. This isn't the typical summer orange, it's slightly more muted in tone, but it's still so bright on the nail, it looks so beautiful on the nail. I think this one is perfect for summer, it's something different to neon highlighter oranges which can be really hard to wear and pull off.
Finally we have OPI The Sky's My Limit. This is one of the most beautiful polishes I've ever seen, there is sort of a teal gold shimmer. I love shimmer polishes, this one is perfect for summer, it's so bright and looks amazing in the sun. The only negative is that this polish is from a limited edition collection, however, I believe Zoya Charla is pretty close, although it's more green. I think you could find this polish on Amazon or eBay, I found mine at Tk Maxx.
