Polishes I Bought For the Name | Tag

I thought it would be fun to take part in another tag! I have a lot of polishes which I have bought just for name, but I will warn you most are OPI!

First up is OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around. I could have included all of the polishes I have from the Brazil collection, I love all the names. This polish is my favourite nude of all time! It's slightly pink toned rather than a brown nude which is why I love it so much. It's perfect for any skin tone!

Next is another OPI, this one is Love.Angel.Music.Baby from the original Gwen Stefani collection. I bought the entire Gwen Stefani collection just because I love Gwen and No Doubt. I honestly don't really like the colours, this gold one is my favourite, but the other colours are just boring and basic, except the chrome one of course!

Next is an Essie polish, this is Bikini So Teeny. I have a million colours like this one but I had to get it for the name it's so cute! It's a light cornflower blue with hidden shimmer. This is a very popular Essie shade but the formula isn't great, I need three coats.

Another OPI! This is What's With the Cattitude? This is a beautiful blue but it has a horrible watery formula, this is four coats! I bought this only for the name, I love cats, actually my blog is named after my cat, who's called Dolly Mary! This is super limited edition and hard to find, I don't think it's worth hunting down, there are many other similar blues with a great formula.

This is Nails inc. Pudding Lane. I have a few from this same collection, they have really cute names, I have Sweets Way and Topping Lane! I think it's so clever that Nails inc named the polishes after real places which fit in with the collection! I love all the polishes too, I really want Sugar House Lane, which is a nude with black and white glitters!

I hate including this polish in posts because it's so limited edition. This is OPI Mrs O'Leary's BBQ, it's a beautiful deep burgundy red. It looks just like BBQ sauce! I bought this polish because I think the name is so funny, if you didn't know, The Great Chicago fire was thought to be caused by Mrs O'Leary's cow knocking over a lantern. I think the name is so funny, and a little bit risky, even for OPI!

Finally we have OPI It's All San Andreas's Fault. This is probably my favourite named polish ever! I have always been fascinated with earthquakes, so a polish named after one of the most famous fault lines in the world had to be mine. Also, how funny is the name? It's such a natural play on words, some polish names can sound forced and don't really make sense.

The name also reminds me of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, which is my favourite videogame of all time, if you have not played it you're missing out! As you can probably tell, this polish has a lot of sentimental meaning to me, whilst writing this post I've realised how crazy I am! But that's what polish does to me sometimes, ahahaha! I forgot to mention, this is an ugly brown textured polish, I mainly use it for nail art, as a top coat can smooth out the texture.

That's it! Those are the polish I bought for the name. I hope you enjoyed this tag post, I love writing them.

Molly x
